Muriel Bell worked at the Leach Pottery in St. Ives before establishing her pottery in Great Malvern and later working for her husband's Lanchester Marionettes string puppet company. This pot bears was made at the Leach Pottery around 1931 and bears the St. Ives mark and her own Bell stamp.
