A magnificent dish by Phil Rogers. I would have liked to have asked Phil about the dish which is an unusual design for him. It resembles the large dishes made by Shoji Hamada who Phil though was a genius so perhaps Phil decided to pay homage to his hero. I have included an image from a Hamada monograph for you to compare.
