This slip trailed earthenware dish with a scalloped border measures 40cm by 30cm. Although David made a few of these dishes in collaboration with Clive Bowen in 2001, this is an original that David made in the 1950s at Lowerdown Pottery. The dish was a lucky auction purchase which went under most people's radar as it was described as "an art pottery charger marked LD".
