October 22nd 2022 onwards
Michael Leach was Bernard Leach's second son, he left the Leach Pottery in 1956 to set up his own pottery at Yelland in North Devon.
This exhibition includes examples of Michael's early work in St. Ives but concentrates on his Yelland years featuring pots owned by his family and ex-students.
As well as pots, Michael's son Philip Leach and other family members have lent a selection of Michael's notebooks, glaze tests and period photographs.
