John Bedding'a association with the Leach Pottery began in 1968 when he was taken on as an appprentice. He soon moved to France but came back in the pottery in the 1970s, working on standardware and his own individual pots. John currently runs the Gaolyard Studios where he makes his own pots and provides working space for others potters. His gallery, St. Ives Ceramics on Fish Street near the Sloop Inn is a mecca for pottery enthusiasts.
