For over 40 years Christine Halstead was a passionate collector of studio pottery, she was instrumental in the development of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen in Bovey Tracey and was a great supporter of the Burton Art Gallery and Museum and the arts and crafts in the South West. After her death in 2013 her collection of over 400 pots came to The Burton Art Gallery and Museum at Bideford in North Devon.
Christine had an eye for quality and there are some wonderful pots in this exhibition.
